trista_zevkiaHere is a photo-manipulation of my favorite gangster comedy movie, Oscar. It is beyond hysterical and I'm borrowing Aldo and Connie for a story, Agatha's Mean and Ending.
Agatha
These pictures focus on the story, but I'm sure there is a famous actor in here somewhere that you might recognize. If not, the famous person just didn't make it into my photos, like Kirk Douglas or Don Ameche.
This is Connie and Aldo, two of the Mafia’s top enforcers. They are scared of their boss, with good reason. Angelo “Snaps” Provolone is going straight today, buying onto the board of directors at a bank.
This is Snaps’s accountant, Anthony Rossano Jr. He wakes Snaps up in the morning to ask him for a raise, so he can get married, to Snap’s daughter. He stole $50,000 from Snaps to give to her on their marriage, and then admits to having sex with her. Snaps is not happy.
Aldo mentions it is impolite to have a stiff in the house with company coming, saving Lil’ Antony. The maid, Nora, tells Snap’s daughter Lisa that she saw a play where a girl pretended to be pregnant so she could marry her boyfriend.
This is Theresa, Lil’ Antony’s lover, who Snaps has never met before. But Lil’ Antony has 50G’s of Snaps money. Enter the statement of paternity, and Snap’s promise to give 50G’s to his daughter on her marriage to Lil’ Antony. 50G’s converted to precious stones, in a little black bag.
The maid, Nora, is quitting her job to get married, taking only her little black bag of underwear.
Dr. Poole, teacher of elocution, has come to help Snaps over his lower class roots before he joins the banking profession. Snaps attempts to get Dr. Poole to marry Lisa, with a dowry of women’s underwear.
Poole is confused, Snaps is angry, Lil’ Antony is busy stealing another 50G’s to buy back the jewels. 50 grand in cash, in a little black bag. And then things get complicated. There’s the assassination attempt by a rival gangster, the cops staking out Snap’s place, the reporters, the snitch, the Priest, the bankers, the Finucci Brothers and the new maid. Though if only one maid in the city will work for you, she probably comes with secrets of her own…
