Happy Dance!
My flatmate is Volunteering at the library!
Three hours a day, during the week, I'll be alone! I'll be able to work on fic and read fic and that other thing. Apply for jobs, right. I'm so excited, three hours a day to do stuff instead of be talked at. If she was talking to me, my opinions and input would matter. It doesn't matter if I talk back or not, she never shuts up, never turns off the tv. I feel like the Grinch, "Oh the noise, noise, noise!" Random crap I don't care about, like how her high school football team did this year (WTF? she's in her 3rd year of college!) She got out of class, and my brain just stopped, until about 2Am. Now, I have a chance to listen to music and read and type and do things I want to do. My God, I might even get to do laundry without starting to ask her to get her crap out of the washer and dryer three days in advance, and oh how I wish I was making this up!
